Design Firm Releases Free To Download ‘Unofficial Olympic Supporter’ Posters -

London design firm Rizon has created a series of ‘Unofficial Olympic Supporter’ posters for small businesses as a means to avoid the strict marketing guidelines set by London Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG).
According to the LOCOG’s marketing guidelines for the London Olympics, only official partners have the ‘exclusive right to exploit their association with the event’.
In an article found in Dezeen, Rizon’s managing director Dave Collions said the following, “Working in the field of licensing and merchandising, the draconian way LOCOG has enforced the brand rules around small and medium enterprises wanting to show their support of the game has incensed us.”
He also adds, “Total control for sponsors is not the Olympic spirit and certainly not in the spirit of British fair play.”
If you would like to be an ‘unofficial supporter’ of the London Olympics and show your love for the games, you may download the posters here
